HipTrain is a tech platform that provides live, 1:1 online personal training sessions for an incredibly low price. The app allows people to get personalized fitness guidance in the comfort of their own home, in both English and Spanish.
HipTrain’s bilingual trainers are based in Latin America and the app provides them with the opportunity to train new clients around the globe, while earning additional income, and growing their personal brands.
HipTrain hired Agency Byrnes to lead Communications efforts as they looked to tell the world about their innovative new platform. The assignment was a challenging one, as it required telling both the consumer story about personal fitness, and also the business one about technology empowering emerging market entrepreneurs. Agency Byrnes crafted various bespoke pitches and conducted a targeted outreach campaign to media outlets in the U.S. and Latin America, resulting in local, national, and international coverage in English and Spanish.
